As a technical guru on our platform, you will consult on how to use our APIs to achieve business goals, provide feedback on applications in progress, document best practices for using plugins and APIs, debug tricky developer issues as they unfold, and shepherd applications through launch and beyond. Role & Responsibilities

  • Guide partners on the best way to meet their product, technical, and operational needs using the LinkedIn Platform.
  • Provide developer technical support for our plugins, REST APIs, and JavaScript APIs.
  • Ensure customers have a successful launch and work to resolve post-launch issues.
  • Help get applications back up by triaging and debugging problems, even as they're occurring.
  • Write documentation and code samples to make it easy for developers to build their applications.
  • Share your learnings with internal teams, helping us leverage your front-line experience to guide our feature roadmaps.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years experience programming web applications in JavaScript, an interpreted language, and Java or C#.
  • Rock solid understanding of web technologies, including HTTP, REST, and OAuth.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts in a personable and clear manner, both orally and in writing. You must have love and pride in your writing.
  • Experience integrating large company or enterprise services, either as a consumer or a provider.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple balls at once.
  • Passion to help developers succeed.
