Sr. Solutions Developer

MediaMath is currently seeking an experienced software developer to join our Solutions Development team. The applications we work on are a combination of efficiency tools, partner integrations, and performance monitors. These systems are high availability and enable the execution of ad campaigns for many major brands. We’re expanding the team and looking for a senior developer that wants to lead projects and influence technical direction.

Responsibilities:

• Write high-quality code.
• Document your application design.
• Improve the process around shipping and maintaining code.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Business Development, Engineering, and Senior Management on application requirements.
• Mentor teammates
• Lead technical implementation of complex, cross-platform projects

Requirements:

• Software development is one of your passions.
  
• Experience with PHP 5.4+ and related packages.
• You have proven experience developing stable web-based applications for a discerning client base.
• You have ample Unix scripting and Apache administration skills to be self-sufficient on a LAMP stack.
• You like using Javascript libraries like jQuery almost as much as you like hand-coding Javascript.
• You understand HTTP methods and headers inside and out.
  
• You have built applications that use a 3rd party API (bonus points for having built against both SOAP and REST services).
• JSON is great, but you don’t cringe when parsing XML (even if it involves writing a regex or two).
• Process is something that you’re constantly looking to improve, be it through adapting lean methodologies, improving deployment techniques, increasing test coverage, or improving the a recurring meeting’s.
• You are energetic and opinionated.
• You are curious and willing to change course.
