API Support Genius / Developer Advocate

AlchemyAPI is a natural language processing and text mining platform that is used more than 3 billion times every month. Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting customers who are integrating with our API & services.
• Attending Hackathons and serving as an AlchemyAPI spokesperson at technical events.
• Handling inbound technical support requests & basic lead qualification.
• Resolving technical and non-technical issues from customers, and documenting solutions in our Customer Portal.
• Formulating ideas to improve our products from a technical and customer perspective.
• Finding ways to improve the overall customer experience.
• Entry-level scripting and programming related to customer API integrations.

Skill Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent expertise and/or professional experience.
• Knowledge of natural language processing, computational linguistics, or text analysis / mining a plus (not a requirement).
• Some experience in PHP or Java software development.
• Knowledge of web technologies including APIs, app. servers, databases, etc.
• Experience with Linux, Apache, command-line tools, etc.
• Solid multi-tasking skills.
